CHRIS & AMBER: INTIMATE DOWNTOWN BALTIMORE WEDDING // MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Today we are featuring Amber and Chris’ intimate Downtown Baltimore wedding! We had the pleasure of first shooting Amber’s twin sister, Ashley’s, wedding in May and then we got to see Amber and Chris in July for their big day! If you’ve been following along, you know that Amber and Ashley have a super close relationship with their Gram. Amber and Chris’ wedding day was extra special because although Gram could not be with them to share their day, she was there in spirit and her energy could be felt all around.

One of our favorite moments of the day was when Amber realized she had a beautiful butterfly pendant in her bouquet. When she was told that Chris had arranged for it to be added to her flowers, she was so touched by her soon-to-be sweet husband! For those of you who don’t know, Amber’s Gram always said that when she passed, she would become a butterfly, so the deep symbolism behind the beautiful pendant speaks volumes of Chris’ love for Amber and making sure that she knew her Gram was close by.

If Chris and Amber’s wedding day wasn’t already special enough, it was extra sweet to me, because I got to watch the second wedding of two of my close childhood friends. Hearing stories during toasts about Amber and the love of her life, Chris, made me emotional and there was not a dry eye in the room. Not only did Chris agree to move their wedding up so they could try to have Gram there, but he drove hours and hours to get Amber home to see Gram when she was sick. To us, that is such a true testament among many of their love for each other and the connection they have. Chris and Amber surely have a very long and happy life ahead of them!!

Their reception was full of life in the little Greek Restaurant they chose for their reception, Ikaros, and the food was amazing! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Bosse! We are excited to see all your adventures together with little Mabel!
